Duluth Senior Photographer
Senior Photos That Feel Like Them
Relaxed, natural senior photography for families in Duluth, Superior, and the Twin Ports.
No awkward poses—just genuine images that capture this once-in-a-lifetime season.
My goal as a Duluth senior photographer is to capture you as you actually are right now—relaxed, confident, and excited about what's next. Together, we'll create images that feel natural and authentic while making sure Mom (and yes, Grandma) gets the timeless portraits they'll treasure for years.
Before we start talking about outfits, locations, and all the fun details, I want to take a moment to talk to the moms
Senior year has a way of sneaking up on us. One minute you're packing lunches and cheering from the sidelines, and the next you're planning graduation and talking about college, careers, and what comes after.
Senior portraits are more than another item on the graduation checklist. They're a chance to pause and celebrate exactly who your senior is in this season of life—their personality, their confidence, their passions, and everything that makes them uniquely them.
My hope is that years from now, these photographs won't just remind you what they looked like—they'll remind you exactly who they were before this chapter came to a close.
My all-inclusive senior sessions are designed to feel easy, relaxed, and personal, with plenty of room to make the experience your own.
Keep it simple with one outfit and one meaningful location, or take advantage of a nearby second location and outfit change for even more variety. Whether you're drawn to the shoreline of Lake Superior, Park Point Beach, Enger Tower, downtown Duluth, or another favorite spot, we'll choose locations that reflect your personality and create a session that never feels rushed.
Bring what makes you, you—your guitar, sports equipment, your dog, your favorite truck, or simply your everyday style. I'll guide you through every step of the session, so even if you've never been in front of a professional camera before, you'll never have to wonder what to do.
If you want to make your senior experience even more unique, add-on sessions are available for a completely different location, another season, or a fresh hair and makeup look. Together, we'll create a session that's as individual as you are.
At Kate Craft Photography, I don't believe in one-size-fits-all sessions. Every senior experience is thoughtfully designed around the person in front of my camera—not a package.
P.S. Be sure to scroll down and explore full senior galleries from sessions throughout Duluth, Superior, and the Twin Ports to see what your own senior experience could look like.

Everything You're Wondering
When should I book?
Most seniors book their session several months in advance, especially if they want a summer or early fall date. Those evenings tend to fill first, so I always recommend reaching out as soon as you know you'd like to work together. We can choose the perfect date and start planning from there.
What if it rains?
Don't worry! Wisconsin and Minnesota weather likes to keep us guessing. If Mother Nature doesn't cooperate, we'll simply reschedule for another date at no additional cost.
Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely! Dogs are always welcome as long as they're comfortable around new places and people. I do recommend bringing someone along to help hold them when they're not in photos so we can make the most of your session.
Can I include my sport, instrument, or hobbies?
Yes! Some of my favorite senior portraits include the things that make you who you are. Whether it's your guitar, hockey gear, fishing pole, dance shoes, or another passion, I'm always happy to incorporate meaningful details into your session.
How many outfits can I bring?
Most seniors choose two or three outfits, which gives us a nice variety without feeling rushed. I'll send you a style guide before your session to help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully and feel like you.
Can my parents come?
Of course! Most parents come along, and I actually encourage it. They can help carry outfits, cheer you on, and usually sneak in a few behind-the-scenes photos of the experience. We always make sure there's plenty of time for a quick portraits with Mom and Dad too, if you'd like.
What if I'm awkward in front of the camera?
You are definitely not alone! Almost every senior tells me they're nervous or don't know how to pose. That's completely normal—and honestly, it's one of my favorite parts of my job. I'll guide you through everything from where to stand to what to do with your hands, so you can relax, have fun, and end up with photos that feel natural and genuinely you.
