Full Circle Moments: A Senior Grad Session with a Familiar Last Name

This session was extra special for me—not just because it was a gorgeous evening or because Brandon totally crushed this shoot—but because his dad and I actually graduated together!

There’s something so meaningful about moments like this. Getting to photograph the next generation and seeing the stories come full circle—it’s one of the things I love most about this job. Watching a classmate now show up as a proud parent, standing beside their own graduating senior? It’s both surreal and incredibly heartwarming.

 A Laid-Back Session with Heart

Brandon was relaxed, easy to work with, and had a great sense of style. We kept the session simple and true to him—choosing a location that gave us space to mix portraits with a few more natural, candid moments. And the light? Golden hour magic.

Whether he was walking confidently toward the camera or just laughing between shots, you could feel that mix of excitement and reflection that comes with senior year.

 Why I Love These Sessions

Photographing seniors is always fun—but when it’s a family I have a connection with, it hits a little deeper. I don’t take it for granted that I get to be a small part of preserving these memories. It’s more than photos—it’s a piece of their story.

Ready to book your senior session? Whether we go way back or are meeting for the first time, I’d love to help tell your senior’s story.
